What is a Sojourner? A sojourner is a temporary resident! so-journ (n) A temporary stay.
We are all sojourners, living in this world as temporary residents. We are by no means permanent residents' as our lives are short lived, like a vapor' here for only a moment - then gone.

PSALM 39:12 Psalm of David; Hear my prayer, O Lord, and give ear unto my cry; hold not thy peace at my tears: for I am a stranger with thee, and a Sojourner, as all my fathers were.

Fellow Sojourners

We are put on this earth for one reason, to discover our Lord God through the journey we call life, through the reading of the Scriptures, the struggle with worldly interests, the temptations of power and money, the mistreatment from criminals, the ravages of sickness and disease, then the praying for help in desperate hours and the receiving of no help from anyone, and finally the discovery that there's only one name that we can call on, one Savior that is capable and willing to help, and then Jesus Christ reveals himself to be the God that He is: we are healed, our eyes are opened, the Scriptures are revealed through the Holy Spirit that He sends us, and then our real life begins.

ST. MATTHEW 3:3

For this is he that was spoken of by the prophet E-sai-as, saying, The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the lord, make his paths straight.,

REVELATION 21:2-3
2. And I John saw the holy city, New Jerusalem coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
3. And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the Tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people,and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.
